"Expand the Bridge" between the community and District 64 (Year 1). This effort will result in a richer, more purposeful, and diverse student learning experience.
Action Steps:
1. Invite community members and organizations to partnership with us as we strive to implement our new district mission and strategic plan.
2. Establish a District/Community "Bridge" Team representing a cross-section of the community
3. Identify the current collaborative partnerships between the community and District 64
4 Conduct focus group meetings with collaborating community members and organizations to explore expanded partnering opportunities
5. Utilize information and feedback from the focus groups to further expand and organize community/District 64 partnerships that result in improved student learning experiences
6. Communicate findings and recommendations through school, district and community vehicles
